SHUTTER: A TRUE KODAK MOMENTWhat the Ring did for TV, Shutter does for photographs. A remake, this film has nothing new to offer. We meet a newly wedded couple who move to Japan for his career. The husband immerses himself in his new job while the wife spends the day shopping and being terrified by ghosts. The supernatural world hosts a party entertaining the wife. No blood and guts, but still scary. This film was not screened for critics; the kiss of death.
Bite me: Not great, but enough of a scary movie to satisfy that itch.
