Vonda Volkom: Spooning is nice.
Connor Mead: Yeah. But not as nice as forking.

Connor Mead is a typical asshole who thinks he's God's gift to women.
He's the type of guy to have a different girlfriend in every port, so to say. It's a slick stereotype, but Matthew McConaughey plays it to the hilt and makes it funny. The night before his little brother gets married, Mead is haunted like Scrooge, however these ghosts are of relationships past, present and future. It isn't Citizen Kane, but this puffy little movie was entertaining. Sure, it had the typical life long love interest (the ever charming Jennifer Garner) and no surprise, it ends happily ever after. Michael Douglas as Mead's womanizer uncle was comical. After all is said and done the message, albeit schmaltzy, was positive and uplifting. This is not the greatest movie of the year but it had a clever twist on a well known tale and the actors looked like they had fun with it.
Nibble: Not a great movie, but entertaining and worth watching. A movie critic's vacation.
